A moment to come together as one

Hands Across Alameda, is a Citywide Event this Earth Day, to Celebrate our Island’s Diversity. Everyone Belongs Here and Everyone is Welcome at this Free, Family Friendly Event!

The idea and goal is to form a human chain reaching across Alameda Beach holding hands in a demonstration of unity, support, and to be mindful of one another.

This is a NOT a political event, it is a CommUNITY event . It is intended to bring all walks of life and faiths together. It is simply a celebration of life and unity.

After Hands across Alameda, ARPD will kick off the Earth Day Event with games, exhibits, and activities for kids/families, petting zoo, jumpers, and more.
