- CAC (Community Advisory Committee) meeting, Monday Jan 28th, 6:30-8:00 pm, Marina Room, Alameda Unified School District, 2060 Challenger Drive. The presentation will be about financial planning for families of children with special needs. Here’s the flier with more information.
- ASPED Families meeting, Wednesday Jan 20th, 6:30-8:30 pm, Franklin Elementary School. Presentation by Victoria Forrester on AUSD’s Strategic Plan for Special Education. Flier here.
- Family Caregiver Workshop: The Alameda Free Library and C.A.R.E.S (Caregiver Access to Resources, Education, and Support) present a special evening of resources, assistance, and networking for family caregivers for the elderly and/or ill on Tuesday, February 19, from 6-8 pm at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street. - Accessibility Advisory Committee Recruitment: Applications are being accepted from individuals who are interested in volunteering to serve on the Alameda – Contra Costa Transit District’s Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC). The Recruitment Notice and Application, as well as information about the Committee can be found here. The deadline for submitting an application is February 1, 2019.
