Wednesday, November 16, 2016
Franklin Elementary, Alameda Free Childcare
6:30pm – 7:15pm ASPEDFamilies Support Meeting
7:15pm – 8:15pm ABLE Act Stakeholder Meeting
The ABLE Act allows people with disabilities who acquired their disability before the age of 26 to save up to $100K while on benefits. This means that people who receive SSI or other types of Social Security benefits
will soon be able to save more than the current $2,000 limit when they open an ABLE account.
Before California’s ABLE accounts become available, the CalABLE Act Board needs to hear from you!
Let’s shape what our California ABLE accounts look like together.
Come participate in this ABLE Act Stakeholders Meeting to learn more and share your input.
