We’re excited to announce that Cycles of Change will run bike safety classes for all Wood students! 6th-8th grades will have instruction during their PE class; 4th-5th grades will have a Bike Rodeo on November 6th.
For 6th-8th grades, Mr. Radecke’s classes will take the first session, October 30-November 3; Mr. Monroe’s classes will take the second session, November 6-13 (no school November 10). The classes include helmet fitting, bike checks, bike skills practice, intersection practice and a community ride on the last day of each session.
Students are encouraged to bring their own bikes for the classes and the rodeo; Cycles of Change will bring some bikes too, so everyone gets to ride.
Adult volunteers will be needed for the Community Rides (November 3 and November 13), and for the Bike Rodeo (N0vember 6). Check back soon for the Sign up!
