This Thursday, Feb 8th, a group of 7th and 8th grade students (and adult volunteers) will take part in an all-day event designed to promote acceptance, love and respect. Challenge Day will provide an opportunity for our students to come together, find commonality, have a sense of belonging and learn from one another and leave the event feeling safe, loved and celebrated.
How you can help:
- Adult volunteers are needed from 7:50 am to 3:30 pm on February 8th. Adults will help small groups of students in guided discussions. Please contact Catalina Doddridge if you are interested: or phone 770-241-3133.
- Donate whatever you can to the school’s GoFundMe appeal, here.
Challenge Day is a national anti-bullying organization that builds compassion and promotes positive feelings in school. Students and adults participate in activities and discussions that allow them to recognize stereotypes and labels that exist among them, how they affect people and how they can share and connect as human beings.
