Kasey Brown receives PETA Award

Ms Brown has been selected as one of two winners of the 2016 Matthew Eyton Animal Activist Award from PETA Foundation for her innovative and inspirational work on behalf of animals. Ms Brown created and  teaches the Animal Care and Welfare class at Wood. She and her students have raised awareness of animal issues, partnered with local shelters to increase adoptions, and raised and donated funds.  Additionally, Ms Brown founded a website for educators providing lessons on kindness to animals.  Congratulations to Ms Brown!
