Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the entire staff I would like to thank you again for your continued support of our students both at school and home. We are a small school with very big expectations for our students and could not accomplish our mission without you.

We are nearing the last trimester of this year; I’d like to thank you again for your donations for the viewing of Hidden Figures at Alameda theatre, Falcon Court and other activities.  We are in need of additional resources in order to continue to give our students the rich experiences to enhance their academic development.  Future donations will go towards the sixth grade trip to the Asian Art Museum to see China’s Han Dynasty exhibit, the seventh grade Ropes Course challenge and the eighth graders’ trip to Great America’s Physic, Science and Math day.

We believe in setting our goals high but also realize that larger projects may take more funding than we have available.   We are constantly identifying new resources that we would like to obtain to support our students. You are helping keep Wood operating at the high level we all expect for our students.  If you have any questions, or suggestions for fundraisers, please contact me or the PTA.
