Come cheer on the students as they race their cars! Student teams in 8th grade science classes researched, designed and built mousetrap-powered cars. The teams chose to design for speed or distance, and all cars must travel at least 3 meters. Special guest judges will award prizes for fastest and longest traveling models.
This integrated and project-based learning design challenge project at Wood was selected to be showcased at the fourth annual California STEM Symposium last fall. Read about it here.
