Ms Brown’s Animal Care Class Doing Good

faas-picThe Animal Care and Welfare Class at Wood Middle School are proud to present FAAS (Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter) with a donation of $250. The contribution was raised by 6th, 7th and 8th graders during fundraising activities including selling pizza afterschool. The donation was presented on October 18th to FAAS’s Executive Director, Nancy Baglietto and their Volunteer Coordinator, Cindy Shelby. The Animal Care class, taught by Kasey Brown, is in its 2nd year at Wood Middle School. This is a great opportunity for students to be involved in causes they care about and see how their hard work can make a difference.
