Second Annual LEGO Robotics Tournament, May 6, 10am-1pm

After the success of last year’s LEGO Tournament, the Alameda Robotics Center (ARC) is hosting its second Alameda-wide robotics league!  5th-8th graders from many different schools have been hard at work creating robots to meet the challenges posed by traveling in outer space.

Each team consists of 3-10 students, with one or two adult mentors to guide them through the build process.  The learners work with LEGO Mindstorms NXT or EVS build kits. They may be small but these robots sure are powerful.
